History behind the name Polito Body Shop.
Years ago before I was born my grandfather opened up an auto body shop on 2nd avenue in Des Moines called Polito Body Shop. For years my grandfather and co-workers worked hard to repair the bodies of the every day man's car, while my father watched and tinkered around with them. It wasn't long before my dad could paint his own car. In 1976 my grandfather passed away and my father continued my grandfather's dream and made Polito Body Shop an even bigger success. My dad passed away in 1985 and the shop closed forever. Today my grandfather's and father's hard work and business sense has been instilled in me and I too will carry on our name just in a different way. While they repaired and restored bodies of cars, I will repair and restore bodies of the everyday man and woman.
About me - Jessica Polito, LMT, Certified Medical Massage Practitioner
I was born and raised on the north side of Des Moines in a single family home with my two sisters. I received a high school degree from North High School and an AA degree from DMACC. I then met my husband and we started our family of four. We have two terrific boys and one very slobbery St. Bernard. After feeling like I wasn't making a big enough difference in the world I went on to become a Massage Therapist. I felt I could help reduce the pain and discomfort of others and help them live a less stressful life. I love my job very much and always enjoy learning new therapies and how to improve life. Whether you have an injury, medical condition or need stress relief and relaxtion you have come to the right girl.
